So i've never fished the late Sept early October muskie lakes in this area (Minocqua). ANYBODY have advice on baits, techniques, OR lakes to fish around this area? Whats your HOT bait to throw around this time and area? Thanks for ANY help.
From my experience, it's more fun to poke around with different baits, colors, and presentations to find the one that works on that water for you, rather than chase after someone else's success. What baits do you throw that you work well? What do you use at home that time of year? Use those, work them a bit slower due to cooler water, and enjoy your trip. m
