Caleb of the Park Rapids DNR has implanted transmitters in the oviduct of thirty muskies swimming in Big Mantrap Lake. In theory, the transmitters are to be dropped with the eggs in the spawning area, telling us what areas are used for spawning so the spawning areas can be protected. It turns out to be more complicated than that.

after Caleb. .....Mike Nelson of Motor Clinic, electric trolling motor repair, will follow with tips on maintenance and selecting a new motor. Motor Clinic is also working on a new replacement pedal for the Minnkota Power Drive foot pedals that were discontinued by Miinkota.
