My dad caught a 45" when he was 83 years old. He had no trouble handling the fish (casting, retrieving, landing). He struggled a little with lifting the fish. Regarding the 60", he obviously had help lifting it.

If you really want a "legit" 60", use a bump board to measure it and make sure the photos show it.

    Regardless, that's one beautiful fish.

    That fish is a beast!

Whether he's 60" or not, he's damned thick.

I've got no reason to doubt that fish could be 60". It is damned healthy and girthy.

Only took the second post for this one to go south, isn't there two people holding this fish? Another person on another site accused it or being a mount and not real. This fish wasn't entered in a contest nor did it win anything. Never fails when these fish are posted, stupidity ensues.

Wow...How about celebrating a beast of a catch by a person that should also be celebrated...84 and fishing in Canada.. Love to be able to be there when I am 84. That's a beast of a fish anyway you measure it..
