    New long nose pliers!

It's that one nagging thing, I have the boat and the rods and the reels that are exactly what I want......but I hate every single set of pliers I have ever used to unhook a musky. The longer they are, (farther away from teeth) the less leverage you get at the business end. Well, this just might be the ticket? New from Crescent, their X-Model long-nose is clearly different in it's "double jointed" design that delivers more grip and ease of use. For $17.99, I just had to give it a try!

They get a 10 on the "unique" scale. Stick a fish this weekend and let us know how they work!

Check out Boones Pliers. They have a more horizontal configuration and provide great leverage, compared to traditional pliers

I also love the Boone pliers, they have great leverage, also with the "pistol grip" design You can see what You are doing because Your hand isn't in the way, got the 11in. size love 'em. had them for 3 seasons .. no corrosion.
