    removing grease in carpet

    Anybody have an idea on how to safely get marine grease out of boat carpet?

    Picked some up on my shoe at the ramp. grrr.

    Spray it down good with Simple Green and brush it with a stiff brush then go to a car wash and hit it with the pressure washer. As long as you are there you might as well do all the carpet. Park the boat in the bright, hot sun, pull the plug and crank up the bow as high as it will go and let it dry out good. It should look much better.

    Good advice, if Simple Green don't get it out try Dawn dish liquid..best I've seen on grease or oil..They even use it on Ducks & other animals when They get caught in oil spills..good luck, Mike.

    WD40 will cut it quickly and any good soap will cut the WD40.
