Perhaps it should only be shots of fish being measured. The would be great TV. H

I want to add to this conversation re whether the show should include the process of measuring a fish. I am in total agreement with not measuring big fish on the show. Who really cares if it is 51, 53 or 55 inches? There seems to be a unhealthy fixation among all of us on size and a fixation on whether there is confirmation of a claimed size. I for one would prefer the show focus on technique, strategies and catching a fish. The size is irrelevant.

Maybe when you have your own show you can take the opertunity to show us how it's done?

When will it air so we know what to look for?

Being in the midwest makes a 55 a more challenging endeavor, but possible. H

    Jim,
Please put me down as a strong NO vote for footage of a fish on a bump board. Just as long as you keep telling us how big they were when we ask.

I could see adding a tip on how to do it quickly and with the least amount of damage to the fish, though.
