Which lake would you choose for your vacation?

Just curious how people would choose a lake if these were the choices. Why?

In the summer, the 2nd option.

In the Fall, the biggest fish is all I am after.

If I'm going on vacation for fish, I want big fish. I don't need to drive any distance for small or mediocre fish. Heck, I won't even do that locally.

I enjoy seeing muskies and catching them no matter what the size...and time of year.

Interesting so far. I like fishing for the big fish but I'd never make it on the last choice. After a week with maybe two sightings and maybe no hits I'd lose my will to keep attacking the lake. That's some mighty tough fishing!

Well on the first 3 lakes you will catch a 30# every 8-10 days, so might as well catch the little guys while your waiting.

I grew up fishing the Flambeau Chain in northern WI which was similar to the last 2 choices. Saw a few, but they were giant. Catch one every couple days. I think there are lots of lake choices where you can catch one every day, see several including a few giants. Of course, it's not uncommon to have days were you don't see or catch any. This vacation choice depends upon a lot of things, such as is this your only vacation and what is your experience level and goals. I wouldn't recommend lake 3 or 4 to someone relatively new to the sport or someone who only has one week for a fishing vacation per year.

I'd be delighted to catch one 55+ inch fish per year, assuming I'd likely catch a few more 40+ inch too. For me, that would be involve investing 2-4 hours about 120 times per year. (or roughly 360 hrs of effort)
