    60x29 from the St. Lawrence!

    It's truly an awesome fish. However, I just don't understand why guys like Rich Clarke and others fishing that area not use a scale to weigh their giant fish. They catch huge fish every year, and it would be good to not have to rely on a formula to estimate the weight of a few of those fish that may be 60 pounds or more.

    A great fish I wish they would weigh big fish in the net like we do. The only way to know the true size.

    Jim I think perhaps they could just care less over there what it actually weighs...which is cool. Too many of us get hung up in the actual size rather than it just flat out being a great catch. If he weighed it there would still be people out there questioning the size. Scale not certified, not witnessed by someone off the boat, yad, yada, yada.
