    Water temps "up north"

After a week of 80 degree temps in the Minneapolis area I am curious what water temps are else where.

We are holding in the 61-64 range here in town. what are you guys seeing in the rest of the muskie range.

Went from 58 or so two weeks ago in the Eagle River Area to 62-64 near Crivitz this past weekend. Interesting fishing...........

Out on a deep, clear Woodruff, WI area lake this morning the surface and 2 foot depths are right around 59-60. Water temps 2 weeks ago on the same lake were 54-55.

I see we are scheduled to cool down Thursday, so I'd look for temps to begin falling slowly by the weekend.

I was in Deer River two weeks ago and we had some warm day time temps (74-76) and the water was up to 65 degrees and would drop to 60-58 the next morning.

LOTWs is currently running around 58 degrees in most of the Angle area. Was cooler two weeks ago. Looks to start to cool down mid-week.

Gilmore in Oneida county, WI was 59-61 this afternoon. Nights are going to be slightly cooler, but no frost in forecast through Friday, so any cooling will be minor through then.

So how are you adjusting to unseasonably warm water temps ?

For sure some things are unaffected, weeds are dying as sunlight shortens, somewhere out there a little light is popping in the Tulies heads that signal a migration. Perch will migrate, it must really be a bummer to be a deer wearing a heavy fur coat though.
