Anyone have any experience with this series of Lund toys? It appears to be a great looking platform with nice features. Can't find one till May but looking forward to a demo. Thanks KLH

I still want a Ranger:( I really wish they made the boat wider. I was told they wanted a fast hull thus the bullet shaped boat. Huge livewell.
Nice rig, but you will get wet.
:-)
Sounds like you are looking at the same types of boats that I just was. I was about to pull the trigger on a boat until I found the Tracker Deep V-175 SC. Got a 115 Four Stroke on it. I believe it is wider than the lunds and Tracker boats dont nickel and dime you for every single accessory in the boat, they just come standard on things.

I have been out fishing with a buddy of mine in his Predator. Wow! Even in decent waves the ride was as smooth as can be, flying along at 60+mph. Plenty of casting room on the deck for the two of us. Rod storage is fantastic. Love it.

Looks like a nice boat. Can't go wrong with a Lund. I hope you don't deface it by putting a piece of junk Mercury on it, though.
How does it compare in price with the 2075 Pro V?

I want to give this thread a bump...
Looking for a little info and feedback from people who have run the Predator 2010 SS. I have been looking at getting one for a little while, but you rarely hear of them being run.
A few pics of the new 2011 2010 Predator.
I took this up to Bill Sandy's this year for the ESOX Musky Hunter trip and loved it. I've fished out of 620's and 621's and really think this fishes better than either(for about 18k less). I know glass guys are really committed to their fiberglass boats, but it really comes down to what each person likes and dislikes.
The biggest complaint I usually hear about Aluminum boats is the ride on rough water. During that week we had some extreme wind on LOTW and boat control was challenging, but no more difficult then what the Ranger folks were experiencing. As far as taking on the bigger waves from spot to spot, the boat did it all day long at around 4200rpm at 33-35mph with 20-25mph gusts. Did we get a little wet? yeah... but there was no bouncing and the amount of spray was acceptable and about the same as the Ranger folks.
The down side of it is rod storage. I'll be working with Bob over at Justencase to create a longer center rod component by cutting out the massive live well, and making some new tops/lids and adding some of his clear lure storage solutions. After this is done, it'll hold 9 1/2 foot rods, Go from point A to point B at around 52mph (175Verado) and still be able to fish skinny water (1 1/2 foot).
If you have other questions please feel free to drop me a line or post the questions here.
Sincerely,
Mark
