    RE: Apology to Jolly Roger

This forum, like most forums, has a certain select group of guys that constantly stir the pot... and then these same guys often are found pointing at others as forum trouble makers.

I think most of us have more respect for a guy that comes right out and speaks his mind rather than the subtle rabble rouser pot stirrers that CONSTANTLY lob little hand grenades and then complain about others forum behavior as they respond to them. ...enough on that..."You know who you are". :D

You notice "WBLAKER" calling a guy a moron in that other thread? As heated as some of these threads get, very very seldom do you see name calling like that and yet, "WBLAKER" (and a few select others) can often be found calling out OTHERS as pot stirring trouble makers when the fact is, that's exactly what they are. ...enough on that..."You know who you are". :D

I often disagree with OZ in football threads but I don't think I've seen him call people names like that. (Unless I missed that) On the other hand, we have other people actually saying they wish ill will of Gelb...how does that compare to ANYTHING OZ has EVER said on the forum?

...and yes...most people understand the difference between calling somebody a "cool aide drinker" or "cheeshead" like sled might do to me... or me calling him a crow eating flip flopping bRnet fVfre apologist. :D There's a big difference between idiot, moron verses cheesehead or flip flopper. ...enough on that..."You know who you are".

I was just simply pointing out that the lack of courtesy and politeness by a select few posters keeps other serious musky fishermen away from this board. There are a lot of valuable posters here but there could be a lot more if some people just showed the same respect I am sure they demand for themselves on a daily basis.... Re-reading my original post I see that is was not worded very well. Just treat others like you want to be treated and your life will go much smoother and I am sure you might be a little happier at the end of the day.

Nothing would be more fun.....except sitting on my boat out in the Gulf of Mexico catching some fish (which is what I'll be doing in January). No peace pipe needed between JR and me. Hopefully, he'll make it up to LOTW to spend a few days with me this summer. And, I'll always be happy to share a drink with you....make mine Stoli on the rocks, thank you. LOL

So sorry Mr. Antagonist. Guess some of us grow tired of coming to a muskie thread to share what we know with others and try to help others the best that we can and constantly see meaningless nonsense over and over and over again. If you want to talk trash via email that's fine but don't tie almost every thread with meaningless bickering.

    RE: Apology to Jolly Roger

Bob's apology speaks much about his integrity and I would like to see more of it on here from people. It takes a man to admit to being wrong. My hat is off to you Bob And though I was Air Force I would like to say "Semper Fi back to you Sir. There are others but They know who they are with out me going through it all. Can we just PLEASE get the posts back to where they should be on this fine board? I enjoy reading on this board but am tired of all the pi##ing matches going on. I read for the info and would post more and try to offer info back if it would just mellow out on here.
Merry Christmas to all and I mean ALL members of this board.

this thread is embarrassing for everybody. you should have let it died instead of weighing in almost a week late, stan. it pains me to read such whiney posts on this site over and over. sir this, sir that.

at least we got 'apology for asking' out of it. is all the crying and hugging over so we can go back to being men now?
