I'm not a fan of Abu muskie reels but the Toro is the real deal. I love mine.

im using the 5.4 for pretty much EVERYTHING... its held up fine. idk if its the ideal reel for burning but then again, I dont use it for that. I have another rod for that...

I'm running the 5:4 for everything under Mag Dawgs. Works good for blades, gliders, topwaters, ripping cranks, jerkbaits ect. May get a 2nd when I get my new rod next year for big plastics.

used a 50 with 5.4 to 1 last nite...was impressed..casts like a dream, small, light weight, barely feels like you have a reel on the rod..drag was smooth...
I lucked out and sent in an old Morrum to Abu that was shot and they gave me a killer deal on any reel of my choice so I have a 60 size coming as well...

used a proto pretty much all last season, had no problems, this season using the 5;4 on all rods except for 1 which is a toro winch that i was lucky to get early for big blades.like throwing and reeling a mini mite 7000.really sweet and effortless. put one in a guys hand and thier eyes just open up big and wide.
just heard they are now becoming available,i know rollies got some in.
looks like abu has got a winner here.

Been using one for 2 months. Sweet reel.

I will also be getting a winch version. My partner will be getting one for himself also.

I have a 5.4:1 60 size and absolutely love it!! Casts like a dream and really nice to hold onto if you palm your reel. Highly Recommend it if you are in the market for a new reel.
