I've actually noticed that wearing my Musky Hunter shirt in bars after fishing has generated a throng of ladies wanting to hear about my angling adventures. When they see you are an athlete, they just want to be around you, they lose their regular inhibitions about risky behaviour and then sometimes feel betrayed by their thirst for immediate gratification later. I can't tell you how many wake up that next morning and you can see the look on their face that says, "I can't believe I did this--what the heck was I thinking??" Then, the remorse sets in, they don't know what they are going to tell their husbands and boyfriends...and so they make up some whopper. Then, it's us poor athletes who suffer. My question is, "When these women want to keep throwing themselves at us, how many times do we have to say "no thank-you" before realizing they just can't help themselves?
