I was born in Madison, WI, and grew up in Madison and Mt. Horeb, WI. I've been fishing muskies since I was 22 years old. My wife and I moved to CA in our mid-forties, and built a house in Woodruff in 2006. I retired in 2008, and fished muskies quite a bit. In April our son-in-law died in a tragic motorcycle accident, and my wife and I sold the Woodruff house so we could help out more with our grandchildren, who are 9 and 6 years old, and live in San Diego. The last two summers I got them back to WI for some fishing, and they are both looking forward to fishing with me again next summer. Hopefully we will catch some muskies in the future... so far just bass and panfish.
