Was out fishing in my buddies boat two weeks ago. We noticed that the boat Icon was not tracking corretly most of the night.
Thought it was his unit. So I go out in my boat last weekend and I have the same issues. The units track just fine when running over 1 mph or so but if you drop down the speed to say .5 or so it does not track correctly. We have both never had a problem with this until the last few weeks. I've had all the updates and everything. Has anyone else noticed this recently?? Does not seem to matter the the model we have a 520, 110, 37, and a 111.
Just seems strange both of us just had these issues pop up over the last few weeks.

Take your puck in for software updateing, that should fix it.

Check your menu for the GPS setup. You might have an option that sets the minimum speed at which the unit will track. It's probably set at the default, which is probably higher than .5 MPH. You can just reset that option (if there is one) and it might take care of the problem.

Or the frequency (time) that it updates the position you are at.

Bob and BWB have you on the right track. I'd try those ideas first.
