The Musky fishing has been good during low light periods for us, perhaps due in part to reduced boating traffic during the early morning and evening - there certainly are more boaters and fisherman out than in years past! Burning Mepps and Llungen Tails and erratically twitching both jerkbaits and twitch baits is producing both nice pike and muskies for us; grinding heavy cover has also been good, especially as the sun climbs higher. The trolling bite has been consistent during the heat of the day as the shallow bite seems to die off; Depthraiders and Bigfoot Depthraiders have seemingly produced the biggest and most fish.

Tight lines,
Joel
