View Full Version : U.K. angler seeks first musky!

I am hoping to visit Canada in Aug/Sep this year for a holiday with my wife. We both love the outdoors and lure fishing Muskies / Northerns would be our preferred target with wildlife watching for non-fishing days but really need some advice on how to go about making it happen. I recently emailed numerous lodges on Eagle Lake and LOTW but got no responses - do they close this time of year? - Any help gratefully received. Thanks

You would be better off calling this time of year, although the top lodges should be able to answer emails...

Thanks for the suggestion Bruce - I've emailed half a dozen or so lodges on LOTW and Eagle including your suggestion now but only received one response from someone who does not specialize in Musky - looks like I'll have to make with the phone this weekend!
Big fish only

Remeber too that we are in the midst of the show season with many lodge operators "on the road" for many days at a time. Continue get your e-mails out and emphasize the you will be traveling from the UK in you e-mail. be patient. i'm sure you'll get sufficient responses in plenty of time to make arrangements.
