Musky activity has been steady throughout the daylight hours, with fish coming from shallower weeds and/or wood or sandy areas in the early and lates periods. Jerkbaits (Hatchets, Warriors, Suicks) and twitching crankbaits (Shallowraiders, Jakes) are working well as are larger plastics (Swim'n Joes, Fluttertails, Bulldawgs). During the mid-day hours, try working deeper holes and breaklines, especially those adjacent to good structure. Suckers rigged on quick-strike rigs are taking muskies and some nice bonus pike too.
