At what surface temps do you really feel the need to go Musky fishing?Presently the surface water temps are 78-79 range and its a lotta of long hours between rips when one refuses to let out 100 yards of line and spend alot of time reviing the fish.Took the wife and daughters, camping and got in some Musky fishing alot more trollers then Ive ever seen especially on weekdays.Everyone, was trolling deep water between 28-42 ft depths well all the marks, I saw were down in the 20-24 ft mark in those areas and im not into that program.Did manage to catch and release a couple nice fish trolling the shallow water close to deep water points.Just like to know whats the real surface temp that really seems to trigger the fish to start the fall feedbag? From opening day to the last day of the season, anytime I can go is a darn good time! The only water temperature I worry about is 32. Makes it tough to launch. I only wish I could get out so many times that I could chose my conditions.
