World Class Guide and Fishing Instructor STEVE HERBECK is the owner of Andy Myer’s Lodge and is legendary for his muskie fishing expertise. Before moving to Ontario Canada to operate his fishing lodge on Eagle Lake, Steve was known as a top Wisconsin fishing guide and has fished some of the best muskie lakes in the U.S. and Canada.
Some of Steve’s accomplishments are:
- 2 Time Wisconsin State Champ
- Muskies: 47 lb. 10 oz., 1992 & 43 lb. 6 oz. in 1987
- 19 Vilas County TOP TEN finishers in 6 years
- Multi-Species Expert Guided 21 muskies over 40 lb. on Eagle Lake from 1994 – 2005
- Inventor of the “Herbie Rig”
