Mark Maghran has been a member of Musky Hunter magazine’s staff for about four years. He was instrumental in starting a local musky club and was infected with M.F. (musky fever) 15 years ago.
A fanatical catch and release fisherman, his primary fishing waters are the Niagara River, Georgian Bay and Lake Chautauqua, but will venture just about anywhere.
Mark is also an antique lure collector and appraiser, a member of the New York State Writers Association, Muskies Inc.and Muskies Canada. Born and raised in Buffalo NY, Mark is a former Army Medic, is a business school graduate, and has spent the past 20 years working for the Veterans Administration and is currently the regional service director with a major veterans service organization. Married, with two beautiful daughters.
